1. Thurston County Fair
Each year we participate in our local Thurston County Fair in Lacey, Washington. We have a booth providing a live honeybee hive display, members to answer fairgoers questions, pictures, educational pamphlets and honey sticks.
2. Christmas Potluck
Held each December in place of our monthly meeting. We enjoy great food, company and a gift exchange.
3. Summer Picnic
Held outdoors in July or August at one of our local parks in Thurston County. Members, family and friends share food and bee stories.
4. Washington Beekeepers Association Convention
Each year there is a joint Oregon/Washington State Beekeepers Convention. It normally takes place at the end of the year. This year it will be November 19-21 at Seaside Oregon.
