Apprenticeship Class

If you are somewhat new to beekeeping, want to start beekeeping, or want to refresh your knowledge and skills about beekeeping, the apprentice level course is for you!

This course is typically six 2-hour classes, held weekly and in-person. We will schedule a hands-on beekeeping session at the OBA apiary during one of the classes. 

The classes start on Tuesday September 30th. We will discuss in the first class the format of the class and length each class will go. We will be limiting this class to 20 participants. If we get greater demand we may add a second class at a different time.

The cost is $50 plus our Membership of $25. If for any reason you are experiencing hardship in paying this we may be able to help you through a scholarship.

Zoom Option

We have been asked to provide a zoom option as some class members can not attend a meeting in person. Please note that we strongly advise you to be in person if you can. Do not expect to have the same experience if you are online.
